Hi there. I'm Julia Balto.

I'm a Certified Health and Wellness Coach with a Master's degree in Biobehavioral Kinesiology AKA a mindset and lasting behavior change expert.
 
Helping women take charge of their mental health and feel good doing it is my jam. 
 
But this is also personal for me.
 
I suffered through anxiety and depression for over 18 years. 
 
I was exhausted, foggy headed, and on edge all the time. 
 
I craved deeper friendships but always to binge all alone on Netflix, Oreos, and wine.
 
I barely kept up with school and work - I knew I was missing out on so many opportunities but I felt so stuck. 
 
I beat myself up and tried everythign I could think of to "fix" myself. 
 
I’d cut out carbs, fat, or food altogether (Master Cleanse anyone?) and workout for a week or two. Then I’d binge on a pint of ice cream in front of the TV.
 
I gained 30lbs and felt so insecure in my body. Nothing I did seemed to work or last. 
 
I didn’t have the motivation or discipline to follow through with anything.

I felt unconfident, anxious, and out of control.

I hated my body. I hated myself for being so weak and broken.

I'll never forget the day that I decided enough was enough.

To feel light and confident.

The day that I owned that I was ALREADY good enough and chose radical self-love was the day everything changed for me.
